This is a design project for a private house.

The house features 5 bedrooms for all family members, an open-plan kitchen-living area, and two bathrooms.

Entrance Hall

The space has a rectangular shape. On the left side of the entrance, there is a closet with a small niche for accessories, with graphite-colored fronts. Opposite, there is a mirror embedded in wooden panels that extend into the kitchen area. A sliding glass partition divides the zones. Lighting is provided by built-in spotlights from CENTERSVET.

Kitchen-Living Room

The kitchen and living area are combined, featuring tall sliding glass doors with a secondary exit to the terrace. Wooden panels begin in the entrance hall and continue as kitchen cabinets, transitioning into a light work surface. On the wall next to it, there are accent sconces with a light concrete texture from ANTON ALUMINIUM. The sink is located opposite the window. The dining table separates the kitchen from the living area, with a round lamp above it, accentuating the zoning. The lounge area is in a niche, while the TV zone is integrated into large-format ceramic panels. The color palette consists of calm, light tones with dark elements such as black blinds and window frames. From the living room, there is a view of the staircase area, entirely finished with microcement, with the handrails lit from below by LED strips.

Bathroom

A small guest bathroom on the ground floor, using materials consistent throughout the interior, including large-format ceramic tiles, wooden panels, and brass elements, such as the DOI By LUCEPLAN light fixture and plumbing details.

Master Bedroom

Located on the second floor, the master bedroom is a spacious room in calm tones, featuring a large panoramic window with a dark frame, complemented by dark wooden blinds. Opposite the window is a hanging chair for relaxation before sleep. The king-size bed is the Living Divani NEOWALL, with large pendant lights NELSON PEAR BUBBLE PENDANT By Hay hanging on both sides above the nightstands. The wooden panels behind the bed are mirrored by a spacious closet with matching finishes.

Children’s Room

A children’s room designed for a girl, in light beige tones with orange accents, including a rotating shelf from Porro SIDEWALL, the lower part of the hanging cabinet, and a pouf from Pedrali BUDDY. The workspace has adjustable mechanisms for both the desk and chair. The bed is from the Ukrainian brand Whale kids.

Bathroom

The main bathroom is located on the second floor. The color scheme and materials are in natural, light tones, consistent with the rest of the interior. The shower is behind a glass partition in a brass frame, with a freestanding bathtub opposite. There is a large double sink with brass fixtures. Wall sconces from ANTON MINI ALUMINIUM By Volker.

Children’s Room 2

The second children’s room is on the third floor. The room’s distinctive feature is the sloped ceiling. A double bed in blue from AMURA LAPIS LINEAR fits well in the space, along with a small table for accessories by Hay BOWLER, and an accent orange light fixture FILD BLT_4, plus a thin metal bookshelf. Opposite the bed, there is a wardrobe and a small play area. A small workspace is located in the window niche.

Home Office

The office serves two functions. The first is a workspace with a desk that has an adjustable frame. The second is a guest area that can double as a sleeping space, equipped with a small clothes rack, a low dresser, a mirror, and a table for accessories. The bed is Poliform JACQUELINE, the side table is Poliform FLUTE, the office chair is Viganò ADELE, with a wall light by MIRA By DAVIDE GROPPI and a pendant lamp Vesoi MINI.MAH.

Third-Floor Bathroom

The guest bathroom on the third floor has a spacious shower without partitions, brass elements in the faucets, and finishes of large-format ceramic tiles. A wall light by Axo Light wandleuchten Lik LE in white merges with the white panels, mirroring the shape of the mirror.

Project Challenges

The partitions at the site have already been erected and plastered, and some utilities have been partially installed. Therefore, during the design process, we could not make any major changes to the layout and worked with what was already in place.
